The Luminaries by Eleanor Catton, the winner of the Man Booker Prize, will be turned into a TV-show. It will be filmed in New zealand with producer Andrew Woodland (Law & Order) already attached to it.
And I just started listening to the audio book! This one should be interesting.
Let’s hope it actually happens though and not go to the way of many other TV adaptations like The Corrections and The Magicians. We can’t handle another disappointment!

Rachel Cantor’s new book, A Highly Unlikely Scenario: or, A Neetsa Pizza Employee’s Guide to Saving the World, already has my vote because of the title, but she’s also a funny lady! For Publisher’s Weekly she compiled a list of the 10 worst jobs in literature.

If you haven’t read Eleanor & Park, you have no business being on the internet right now. Go and read that book first, then come back and rejoice that Rainbow Rowell gets to do some more writing.
It’s even going to be a graphic novel. Be still my heart.

Das Magazin is not to be trifled with. Publishers and authors are banding together to prevent readers from downloading their material. Das Mag calls it ridiculous as the readers who download are the same readers who buy all the books.
To make their point they made the latest issue of their magazine available for free.
